Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using AI Risk Scanner (the "Service"). All users ("Users") shall use the Service after agreeing to these Terms.

1. Application

These Terms apply to all relationships concerning the Service between the User and the operator of the Service (the "Operator"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

2. The Service

The Service is a tool that uses AI to analyze image and video content uploaded by users and provides reference information from multiple risk angles, including celebrity likeness, character likeness, deepfake traces, privacy, political, religious, brand safety, and ethics.

The information provided by the Service is AI-based reference information and does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or legality in any way.Final decisions on publication or commercial use must be made under your own responsibility, consulting legal, copyright, or likeness-rights professionals as necessary.

3. Conditions of use

  • Use of the Service requires sign-in with a Google account.
  • A user may create only one account. Abusive practices to evade usage limits via multiple accounts are prohibited.
  • Intended for users generally aged 13 and above. Users under 13 must use the Service with the consent of a guardian.
  • Files you upload must be within the format, size, and duration limits displayed on the Service.

4. Intellectual property

Copyright and ownership of content uploaded by the User remain with the User. The Operator does not claim ownership of uploaded content and uses it only to the extent necessary to provide the Service and run the analysis.

All intellectual property rights to elements that make up the Service — UI, logos, output formats, code, text, design, etc. — belong to the Operator or its rightful licensors.

5. Prohibited acts

Users must not engage in any of the following when using the Service:

  • Uploading content that infringes on others' copyrights, likeness rights, privacy, reputation, etc.
  • Uploading illegal or anti-social content (child pornography, violent or discriminatory expression, etc.)
  • Using the Service's output to harm, defame, threaten, or discriminate against others
  • Using the Service via scraping or automation in excessive ways, or otherwise interfering with operations
  • Decompiling, reverse-engineering, or commercially reselling the Service's output without permission
  • Impersonating another user or the Operator; selling or transferring accounts
  • Disclosing information obtained through the Service to third parties beyond the scope permitted by these Terms
  • Any other act the Operator deems inappropriate

6. Disclaimer (Important)

The Service provides AI-based reference information and makes no warranty whatsoever regarding its output.This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Accuracy, completeness, freshness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the analysis output
  • Comprehensiveness of similar candidates (misses and false positives can occur)
  • Whether the output is sufficient as a basis for legal determination of copyright infringement, likeness rights, or any other legal matter
  • Any impact arising from interruption, delay, or termination of the Service

The Operator bears no responsibility whatsoever for any damages (direct, indirect, special, incidental, lost profits, data loss, etc.) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.The same applies to damages arising from publication decisions, commercial decisions, contracts, or negotiations with third parties that you make based solely on the Service's output.

Any trouble, dispute, or claim for damages with third parties (copyright holders, persons depicted, others) arising from your use of the Service shall be resolved by you, at your own cost and responsibility. The Operator will not be involved in such disputes, and if involved, related costs and damages shall be borne by you.

7. Service interruption, change, and termination

The Operator may, without prior notice, interrupt, change, or terminate all or part of the Service due to maintenance, incidents, specification changes, business decisions, or other reasons. The Operator bears no responsibility for any damages arising from this.

The Service is currently provided as a beta version, and features and quality may change without notice.

8. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge as a beta version. Paid plans or usage limits may be introduced in the future. We will give reasonable advance notice of changes to the pricing model.

9. Changes to the Terms

The Operator may change these Terms without prior notice to users when deemed necessary. The amended Terms shall take effect when posted on this page, and continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute between the Operator and a User in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the Japanese court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location.
